To be very honest, the reef and wreck diving is not as exciting as Cozumel diving and not as pretty as the reefs around Isla Mujeres. You can either get a rental car, book a private transfer , or take the ADO bus. Hawksbill turtles, barracudas, eagle rays, parrotfish, and lionfish often can be seen here.
